Allyson graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1987 with a BFA in Illustration. Since college she spent 12 years designing/ painting murals and motifs on ceramic tile for Country Floors in Los Angeles. Her work has been featured in the Pasadena Showcase House of Design and Hancock Park Showcase House. She is currently straddling between two art career passions as a freelance muralist in acrylics and a plein air artist in oil. Allyson is a member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and Southern California Plein Air Painters Association, and has studied from Arther Egeli, Brian Blood, Kevin Courter and Dan Mieduch.
